This postcard is labeled ""Scene at Big Bend" in script on the back. This is the same image found as Plate VIII in Mildred Anderson's "Genesee Echoes" which she identifies as "Harvey Lee home, once "Rogers Hotel," from Big Bend Road." So this is Lee's Landing, Anderson's childhood home. See Roger's Bridge for more information on this location.

This view is labeled "Big Bend" on the back in script. Again, the exact location is unknown, but it is likely to be the area that later was the location of Camp 23 of the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, now the E Cabins on the east side of the Park.
