 Parking areas are a critical part of the planning for public use of any area and Letchworth Park is no exception. These two real photo postcards show the early efforts of the Park administration to accomodate automobiles at Letchworth.

This photo shows a group of automobiles that are obviously of 1920's and 1930's vintage. The area is assumed to be Upper Falls because the Middle Falls Comfort Station can be seen in the background. The photo was taken before the picnic shelter was constructed at that location and at the present time the Upper Falls Concession Stand is to the right just outside the photo.

This photo shows another Parking area in the Upper Falls area. Notice in the background that many cars are parked along the road. You can see the top of the Slide area across the gorge.
